HEADIES
- Headies is an annual musical award show in Nigeria, where the best talents in Nigeria are celebrated. This event is scheduled to hold on the 5th of May at Eko Hotel in Lagos.

THE PLATFORM NIGERIA
The platform Nigeria is nation building strategic event held every year by “The Covenant Place”. The purpose of this event is to discuss the way forward for Nigeria with the inclusion of youths in the society.

Techfest is about bringing together a community of like-minded participants to showcase Nigeria’s best talent ideas and businesses with a focus on technology.

LAGOS LEATHER FAIR
The LAGOS LEATHER FAIR is a private initiative born out of a need to redress the current situation, specifically within the leather industry. LLF was pioneered in 2017 by FemiHandbags, a brand of My World of Bags, a design and manufacturing company. The fair would have masterclasses, exhibition, workshops, runway shows and a shopping arena!
Date: 4th – 6th May
Venue: Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos

EKO ART EXPO
This event was a part of the year-long Lagos @ 50 celebrations which kicked off in 2016 with colloquium series, cultural displays and movie screenings. Lagos State government started this major show for the visual arts sector to honor Rasheed Gbadamosi. This year, the event would take place at Muri Okunola Park.

INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY
The worldwide community of museums will celebrate International Museum Day on and around 18 May 2018.
The theme chosen for 2018 is “Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics”.
The objective of International Museum Day is to raise awareness of the fact that, “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.”
The event in Lagos will take place at Badagry Heritage Museum

Lagos Hackathon
Are you a developer or you’ve got an idea on how best we can make Lagos more secure?
The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund ‘LSETF’ in partnership with First City Monument Bank ‘FCMB’ and Passion Incubator is organizing a 3-day hackathon aimed at seeking new ways to secure the lives and properties of Lagosians using technology based security solutions that will enhance the operations of existing agencies.
