Resort in Lagos with a that Lion almost attacked me

Jokes, this is what really happened- I only shouted “SIMBA” in the zoo and the Lion surprisingly woke up, and lifted his heavy bodied carnivorous self from the ground, and he went back to sleep. What a lazy Lion I thought – this was after I was scared that it was going to approach me and roar at me because woke him up.

….and this all happened at Omu Resort. Omu resort is a family destination resort in Lagos with several attractions like the zoo, Amusement park, go kart, Quad biking, Horse riding, Kayaking, Wave pool and so many more! I can honestly tell you that you cannot exhaust all the facilities in the resort in just 1 day.

After visiting the zoo, I went go-karting, quad biking, Kayaking and horse riding, you would see all of it in the video below.

Travel Guide on Omu Resort:

  1. Capacity:

The resort is big enough to accommodate 1000 people at the same time. It is huge and beautiful.

2. Parking Space:

One thing that Om resort should get an applauds for, not a lot of people put parking of their customers or client into consideration. Luckily Omu resort did, and I would give them a plus for that. The parking space is wide enough for 100 cars and more.

3. Zoo:

I like the fact that the zoo had varity of animals, from reptiles, birds, donkeys, horses, monkeys, baboon, and some other creepy animals. Oh, lest I forget my new friend- Simba, is included.

4. Facility:

You can tell that every part of the park was really thought through in terms of location of each item, the size, the quality and whatnot. I was really impressed when I go there. And it is interesting to know that they are still building some more infrastructure.

5. Location:

The location is not so pleasing to me, especially with the fact that I reside on the mainland. It took me about 4 hours to get to Omu resort (which is in Lagos), and it could be more, depending on the traffic at that moment.

On the long run, I would say it is worth the ride.
