This week we celebrated International women’s day; thus, a good opportunity for me to present my female role models/influencers to you. Unfortunately all I did on Wednesday was work, work and more work.  I really didn’t know it was International women’s day until I saw it on Snapchat.  Apart from the radio I listen to on my way to work, Snapchat is  my little television that keeps me up to date with different things around the world.

I had a photo shoot a while back, as far back as December last year, approaching Christmas, and I want to share the details of the photo shoot. By now, you all should know my friend, Uche, I work with her on most shoots and I give her photo credit in my posts regularly. She came over to my place and she encouraged that we do a photo shoot, which went well.

Initially, we didn’t have a model, because this wasn’t planned, she presented her idea and I bought into it, although not quickly because I was just trying to get into the Christmas spirit; I wasn’t thinking of a photo shoot. So I told my brother to make a model call, which he did, and this beautiful model showed up at my place. It was a fun shoot because I was so relaxed, no nerves were up, it was all good and it went on smoothly, mostly because I had friends around.

The hair look of this shoot was  inspired by the picture I had on my lock screen which I got from Pinterest. I was so in love with the flowers; I said to myself “I have to do this in one of my shoot, if not more”. And it came out beautifully.  I’m sure I’d be playing with flowers more often in my shoots. I used REAL FLOWERS on her, which my brothers had to go round the estate to source for; my brothers can be really efficient and reliable, they are the realest MVP(s).

So my tip on “HOW TO UP PULL OFF an UNPLANNED SHOOT” is to put together a good team! 🙂
