  • LAGOS LEATHER FAIR

The LAGOS LEATHER FAIR is a private initiative born out of a need to redress the current situation, specifically within the leather industry. LLF was pioneered in 2017 by FemiHandbags, a brand of My World of Bags, a design and manufacturing company. The fair would have masterclasses, exhibition, workshops, runway shows and a shopping arena!

Date: 4th – 6th May

Venue: Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos

This event was a part of the year-long Lagos @ 50 celebrations which kicked off in 2016 with colloquium series, cultural displays and movie screenings.  Lagos State government started this major show for the visual arts sector to honor Rasheed Gbadamosi. This year, the event would take place at Muri Okunola Park.

Date: May 25th – 27th 

  • INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY

The worldwide community of museums will celebrate International Museum Day on and around 18 May 2018.

The theme chosen for 2018 is “Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics”.

The objective of International Museum Day is to raise awareness of the fact that, “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.”

The event in Lagos will take place at Badagry Heritage Museum
